At the Antananarivo airport in you will be greeted by our guide from the agency and he will take you to the hotel.
We will leave in the morning to Andasibe. First stop will be to the Madagascar Exotic park, a private reserve where you can see lemurs, chameleons, frogs, reptiles, butterflies, and snakes.
Upon arrival in Andasibe we will check in at the hotel. The afternoon will be free for any activity. After sunset, we will go on a night walk with the local guide naturalist. This will be a rare occasion to see the smallest of the lemurs (the mouse lemur), chameleons, and frogs.
In the morning, we will start with a visit in the Analamazaotra Reserve where a local guide/naturalist will guide you through the park to see rare birds, precious trees, as well as the iconic Indri and Sifaka lemurs.
After having lunch at noon, we will go to visit the Vakona private reserve. In this reserve, you will be able to have a close encounter with the lemurs, here the lemurs are used to interact with humans and can be touched or hugged. Part of the same reservation is a Crocodile Park, which can also be visited.
We will leave in the morning and start to drive towards East part of Madagascar. We will pass through the town Brickaville, and 12km after Brickaville we will leave the main road, and continue off-road for about 7Km until we reach Manambato. Here we will have lunch.
Next, from Manambato we will take the boat all the way to Akanin’ny nofy trough the amazing Pangalan canal. We will spend the next 2 night at Akanin’ny nofy.
In the morning, we will go to the Palmarium reserve with our local guide. This reserve has about 50 hectares of dense forest with many trail where we can see 7 species of lemurs, Including the Coquerel’s Sifaka and the black-and-white ruffed lemur.
After the visit, we will have lunch. In the afternoon, a boat excursion will be planned to see the local village Andranokoditra, a traditional fishermen village.
In the evening after sunset we will go on a nocturnal trek to try to find the elusive nocturnal aye-aye lemur.
We will depart in the early morning. A boat will take us back to car in Manambato, from where we will continue until Andasibe where we will stop to eat lunch. We will further continue until we are back in Antananarivo where you will be taken to the hotel.
Early in the morning we will start our journey again and will drive to the north along the RN4. During this journey the landscape will change in to a dry, arid tropical savannah type of climate. We will pass through many small traditional villages.
Half away to Ankarafantsika we will stop for lunch and a small break. In the evening, we will arrive in Ankarafantsika where we will stay for 2 nights.
In the morning, we will start the visit with a local guide who will take us in the Ankarafantsika National Park to see the spiny forest. With the help of the guide we will seek the lemurs that live here, along with many amphibians, reptiles (chameleons, iguanas, boa), and birds.
After the park visit we will have lunch. There are no other planned activities for the rest of the day. After sunset and optional night walk can be done to see the nocturnal lemurs.
We will leave early in the morning and head towards Ambanja on the RN6 road. Half way we will stop to have lunch, and before the sun sets we will arrive in Ambanja.
In the morning, we will drive 1 hour to the main port in Ankify. From there we will take the boat to the island of Nosy Be.
We will arrive at the hotel around noon after which you will be free to enjoy the sun, the clear blue water, and the sandy beach for the rest of the day.
The island of Nosy Be is probably the busiest tourist destination in Madagascar, and for good reason. Its tropical climate with the amazing beaches and the clear blue water makes for an amazing place to relax and unwind before returning home. On the island you can do scuba diving, snorkeling, visit the Lokobe Nature reserve, swim with the sea turtles at Nosy Sakatia, take a boat tour around the island, horseback riding, dolphin and whale watching, and many more activities.
From the Nosy Be airport you will fly to Antananarivo, where a guide from our agency will await for you. We will arrange to transport you from the airport to the city where you will stay overnight.
Starting in the morning we will go and visit the Ambohimanga palace and have lunch there. Afterword we will return to the city center and explore the local tourist attractions and markets.
In the evening, we will have a final dinner before preparing for your next day departure.
We will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport to take your return flight home.

Each day includes 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and accommodation at various hotels. Transportation will be done in a vehicle from our agency. Our guide will accompany you throughout the trip and will be your private ambassador to Madagascar.
The trip details for each day are an outline of what you will see and experience. Madagascar is such a divers and unique country that each place you will visit will offer a complex and unforgettable experience.
Some things cannot easily be put in to words and are truly personal experiences, such as getting to know the wonderful local Malagasy people, hearing their stories, their language, traditions and culture.
